Application Data

We believe that making high-quality technical data openly available is fundamental to building trust in new measurement technology. As we continue to characterize Scarlett across plates, liquids, and workflows, we will be publishing application data sheets on a continuous basis — keeping our users updated on our progress every step of the way.

New documents are added as studies are completed. If you have a specific plate format or liquid type you would like us to evaluate, get in touch →

Real-Time Volume Measurements for Optimizing Liquid Handler Performance
This application note shows how Scarlett enables rapid iterative optimization of liquid handlers by delivering immediate, quantitative in-plate dispense measurements. Using a Thermo Multidrop Combi, it identifies out-of-limit channels, verifies successive mechanical adjustments, and confirms target performance; the same workflow is broadly applicable across pharma, biotech, and diagnostics automation.

Performance Validation of Scarlett™ 01 Volume Analysis System: High-Precision Volumetric Analysis of DMSO in 384-Well Microplates
Formal technical validation of the AVENTIX Scarlett™ 01 Volume Analysis System, conducted with VTT MIKES, the National Metrology Institute of Finland. The study evaluates accuracy for measuring 10 µL DMSO volumes in a 384-well microplate and demonstrates SI-traceable, non-contact volume verification that meets stringent industry accuracy criteria.
